We are currently looking for a Material Handler who will be responsible for loading and unloading of materials in the manufacturing facility. Utilizes hand trucks, forklifts, hoists, conveyors or other handling equipment to move material to and from specified areas of the facility. Maintains production and distribution of product by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies, and staging finished product.

Responsibilities:
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

?Maintains inventory by identifying and placing materials and/or supplies in stock.
?Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
?Maintains in-process inventory at work stations by delivering and opening materials and supplies as needed.
?Prepares finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
?Documents product shipment by recording units shipped.
?Maintains material handling equipment by completing pre-inspections and recommending necessary repairs to maintenance.
?Responsible for personal safety and safety of coworkers in area while operating equipment.
?Other duties may be assigned based on the needs of the business.

Working hours: Various Shifts Available

Skills:
--Operate a Forklift
--Basic reading and math skills. Must be able to follow directions.
--Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
--Requires 1-2 years of experience.



*MUST be willing to submit to and pass background screening and drug test!

No Degree Required

Experience:
0-1 years

Qualifications:
Ability to stand or walk for long periods of time and perform repetitive motion type tasks regularly. Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift greater than 50 pounds. Ability to endure heat/cold in a warehouse environment. While performing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly exposed to vibration, repetitive motion, bending, lifting, twisting, crouching, reaching, pushing and/or pulling. While performing this position, the employee frequently works near powered forklifts, power tools, and automated assembly machinery.


Monday-Friday (occasional Sat. OT) 40 hours a week.


2nd Shift Hours: 2:00pm-10:30pm
