Job Description

The Revenue Management Analyst will work with the Directors of Revenue Management to provide analytic and support functions. The incumbent will assist the Central Directors by providing support with reporting requirements, forecasts, system maintenance and requires a high level of attention to detail and the ability to multi-task.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with daily reports including Daily Revenue, Daily Detail, Group Pickup and any other report as directed by DORM.
  • Assist the DORM in monitoring and analyzing demand patterns.
  • Assist the DORM in monitoring and analyzing the effectiveness of restrictions and other selling strategies.
  • Assist the DORM in Monitoring and analyzing daily future turndowns and lost business.
  • Assist the DORM in Developing and implementing daily selling strategies.
  • Assist the DORM in producing day by day current month and 12 month rolling forecasts.
  • Produce and distribute 11 Day Operations Forecast.
  • Prepare reports for, attend and participate in weekly RevMerch and Sales meetings, and Corporate RevMax meetings.
  • Conduct/chair the RevMerch meeting in the absence of the DORM.
  • Assist in setting strategy to fill hotel occupancy utilizing demand and pattern management.
  • Work with hotel team members to produce attractive and creative package offerings.
  • Work with e-commerce and other teams to promote our package offerings.
  • Assist in maintaining rates and parity with all channel partners
  • Work with CDORM to maintain rate and system configurations in various Omni applications
  • Assist with other projects as requested and assigned from DORM and department managers

Qualifications

  • BA/BS/Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Business Administration, Finance, or Economics or one (1) year or more analytical experience in the hospitality industry
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills that build trust and instill confidence in order to motivate and influence others
  • Goal driven and desires to produce high customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to work independently with minimum supervision with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, as needed, given tight project deadlines.
  • Ability to communicate status, issues, designs and plans to managers, peers and business partners.
  • Ability and desire to learn new technologies quickly and manage multiple tasks.
  • Must adhere to organizational codes of conduct and confidentiality.
  • Working knowledge of Excel required
  • Experience with IDeaS RMS, OPMS and ORS and OTA Insight is a plus
  • Must be able to work flexible shifts including AM/PM, weekends, and holidays
