Software Engineer - Frontend - Remoto

This position is full-time and location-based in Costa Rica; because of the Pandemic, our employees in Costa Rica are all working from home WFH.  Return to office in a hybrid model will be required in the future.

Team:  Marketing Services Engineering team, you will be working with Neustar ElementOne®  Analytics Platform a powerful, web-based tool that delivers real-time consumer insights, that works with real-time data driven intelligence and marketing analytics help drive informed, actionable decisions across the entire marketing lifecycle.

Responsibilities include:

• Participate in front-end iterative design, implementation, and development to meet our increasing business requirements

• Maintain coding and documentation standards; support bug fixes and Unit Testing  (JUnit)

• Clearly communicate progress and roadblocks using Agile tools (JIRA and Confluence) and processes

• Assist with customer deployments where technical assistance is required

• Document new and modified software code so test cases can be built against these areas of the platform

• Multi-task in a high-paced environment with competing demands

• Take initiative and be self-motivated

• Display strong interpersonal, presentation, and communications skills

Qualifications/Education

• BS in Computer Science or related technical discipline, or 3 to 5 years of related work experience

• Work experience of 3 to 5 years in JavaScript, HTML5, CSS, Java, and JDBC

Nice to have but not required

• Agile product development methodology

• Experience with PL/SQL and the Oracle relational database

• Experience with Object Orientated design and structures

• React or other JavaScript framework experience

• Linux experience

• Understanding of Spatial/GIS
