• Provides service and customer support during field visits regarding spares shipments, delivery dates, expediting requests, etc.
• Works with Mine planning and inventory teams to plan and assure spares being onsite on time.
• Spends 4-5 days onsite weekly.
• When needed, manages, executes and/or supervises all on site installation, commissioning, configuring, calibrating, repair, maintenance and test tasks.
• Diagnoses errors or technical problems and determines proper solutions
• Promotes a culture of personal and team safety, including others who may be affected by the company’s operational activities.
Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of Job experience in mining.
- 90% English spoken and written
- Proficient with Microsoft Excel and have a firm understanding of ERP (Oracle is helpful)
- Inventory skills, such as analyzing spares reports, ROPs, max and mins, etc.
- Strong customer solutions focused
